Ayaan Institute of Medical Sciences
Ayaan Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) is a private medical college located in Kanaka Mamidi, Moinabad, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana, India. It was established in 2018 by Dr. Mohammed Vizarat Rasool Khan, and is administered by Ayaan Educational Society.[1][2] The institute is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) in Warangal.[1][3] CoursesAyaan Institute of Medical Sciences offers undergraduate courses, primarily the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), with an annual intake of 150 students.[1][3] FAIMER listingThe medical college is listed in the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) World Directory of Medical Schools with FAIMER SCHOOL ID: F0007197.[4] PulsationPulsation, an annual cultural, literary, food and sports festival is organized by the Ayaan Institute of Medical Sciences, alongside other institutions such as the Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr. VRK Women's Medical College.[5][6] COVID19 pandemic effortIn response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Telangana state government enlisted the support of 21 private medical college hospitals, including Ayaan Institute of Medical Sciences, permitted to treat patients in the state.[7] Bus AccidentThe college operates its own bus service across the city for students and staff. On August 28, 2023, a tragic accident involving one of the college buses occurred in Ramkote, Hyderabad, resulting in the death of a GHMC sanitation worker and injuries to four students on board.[8][9] See also
