Arbeleztatu
Arbeleztatu arbelez teilatua babesteari esaten zaio.[1][2] Estalki horiek arbel tamainako lauza edo xaflaz osatuta daude, eta kolore iluneko arroka dira, beren iragazgaiztasunari esker teilatuak eraikitzeko oso egokiak izanik.
Arbela oso erabilia izan da eraikuntzan, batez ere teilaren ordezko gisa, izan ere urarentzako iragazgaitza izateaz gain, azal lauak elurra irrristatzea ahalbidetzen baitu. Horregatik oso ohikoa izaten da mendialdeko eraikinetako teilatuetan ikustea. Hori dela eta, Pirineoetan zein Zuberoa aldean oso ohikoak dira horrelako erabilerak.
Arbela xaflak bata bestearen gainean jartzen dira, kareaz eta igeltsuaz nahastuta, edo iltzatuta, ura eraikinetik kanpora irristatzeko.
