Argillana Arabako herrixka hustu bat da, antzinako Ganboa udalerrian zegoena.
Historia
1025. urteko Donemiliagako goldean Argillana izenez aipatzen da, Camboa izeneko barrutian.[1] Jerónimo Aznar Calahorrako eta La Calzadako elizbarrutiko apezpikuak 1257. urtean idatzitako eskutitz batean Arquizana izenez agertzen da.[2]
Gerardo López de Gereñu etnografoak 1845. urtea baino geroago kokatzen du herriaren behin betiko hustea.[3]
Kokapena
Becerro Galicanoaren edizio digitalaren kartografia prestatu zutenek Argillana gaur egungo Ulibarri Ganboako urtegiaren ipar-ekialdeko bazterrean kokatu zuten.[4][5]
