Oteitzarako errepidetik (NA-132) gertu dago. Iparraldean Villatuertarekin egiten du muga, ekialdean Oteitzarekin, mendebaldean Jurramendirekin eta hegoaldean, Aberingo gainontzeko etxaguneekin.
Historia
Herriari buruzko lehen aipamena 1055ekoa da, Sancho Fortuñones jabetzak aipatzen diren dokumentuan. Arintzano jaurerria izan zen XIX. mendearen erdialdera arte.
