Basque Culinary World Prize Eusko Jaurlaritzak eta Basque Culinary Centerrek 2016an sortutako saria da.[1] 100.000 euro ematen dizkiote sukaldari bati, haren lanak onura sozioekonomiko zabalak baditu. Irabazleak saria proiektu batera bideratu behar du, gastronomiak gizartean duen eragina indartzeko.[2][3]
Sukaldaritzan ibilbide profesionala duen edozein pertsonak har dezake parte sariketan –edozein dela ere haren kultura edo nazionalitatea–, eta haren lanak eragina izan behar du hainbat arlotan, hala nola berrikuntzan, teknologian, hezkuntzan, ingurumenean, osasunean, elikagaien industrian eta garapen sozial eta ekonomikoan.[4]
