Elefantis (K.a. I mendean bizi izana) Antzinako Greziaren emakume olerkari izan zen. Bere gai nagusia erotismoa zen eta sexualitateari buruzko eskuliburu batzuk idatzi omen zituen.[1] Garaian Greziako gorteko partaideen artean izengoiti gisa animalien izenak erabiltzea ohikoa zen; horregatik pentsatu izan daiteke izen horren atzean pertsona bat baino gehiago egon daitekeela. Egile honen testu guztiak galdu egin dira.
Obrak
Suetonioren testuetan Tiberio erromatar enperadoreak bere bidaia batean, Capri uhartean, Elefantisen testu gehienak erosi zituela aipatzen da.[2]
Priapeia poema batean ere Elefantisen liburu bat aipatu egiten da.[3]
Kosmetikari buruzko liburua eta abortoari eta abortatzeko metodoei buruzko beste bat idatzi zituen.[4]
