Hugo Gyldén

Johan August Hugo Gylden (Helsinki, 1841eko maiatzaren 29a -Stockholm, 1896ko azaroaren 9a) nagusiki zeru mekanikari buruzko bere lanengatik ezaguna izan zen finlandiar-suediar astronomo bat izan zen.
Hugo Gylden Nils Abraham Gyldenen semea izan zen, Filologia klasikoko irakaslea Helsinkiko Unibertsitatean eta unibertsitate honetan eman zituen ikasle urteen ondoren filosofia maisu bezala graduatu zena Fisika eta Matematikako Fakultatean 1860an. 1871n Suediako Zientzien Errege Akademiak deitu zuen Estokolmoko Behatokian astronomoa eta burua izateko. 1872an Akademiako kide bihurtu zen.
Ilargiko Gylden kraterra eta 806 Gyldenia asteroideak beragatik jasotzen dute izena.
