Kakongo Afrikako erreinua izan zen, XV. mende inguruan sortua. Atlantikoko itsasertzean zegoen, Loango eta Ngoyoko erreinuen artean, gaur egungo Kongoko Errepublika Demokratikoan. Malemba zen gune nagusia; hango portutik ateratzen ziren Amerika eta Europa aldera itsasontziak esklaboz beteak. Esklaboen salerosketak erreinuaren egitura soziala eta ekonomikoa aldatu zuen, eta azkenik erreinuaren desagertzea ekarri zuen 1830ean.
