OAuth
Open Authorization (OAuth) webgunetarako sarbideen baimena delegatzeko estandar irekia bat da, normalean Interneteko erabiltzaileek webguneak edo aplikazioak beren webguneetara informazioa beste webgune batzuen (APIen) sarbidea emateko erabiltzen da, baina pasahitzak eta erabiltzailearen informazio gehiagorik eman gabe. Mekanismo hau Amazon, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Nextcloud eta Twitter bezalako enpresek erabiltzen dute erabiltzaileei beren kontuei buruzko informazioa hirugarrenen aplikazioekin edo webguneekin informazioa partekatzeko.
OAuth-ek aukera ematen dio erabiltzaile bati A webgunean (API, zerbitzu hornitzailean) dituen datuak -ez identitatea- B webgunearekin (zerbitzu kontsumitzailearekin) partekatzeko.
Protokolo hau Blaine Cook-ek eta Chris Messina-k proposatu zuten 2006an eta egun gehien erabiltzen den bertsioa OAuth 2.0 da.
