Phiale
Phiale (antzinako grekoz, φιάλη (phiálê), eta "fiale" ahoskatzen dena gaur egun), terminologia modernoak antzinako grekoek sortu zuten pote mota bati emandako izena da[1]. Metalezkoa izan ohi zen, eta gutxiagotan, zeramikazkoa. Plater edo katilu forma zuen —biribila, zabala eta sakonera txikikoa—, heldulekurik eta oinik gabe, kilixa ez bezala, eta erdian konkor zirkularra izan ohi zuen[2]. Batez ere, jainkoen ohorez ardoa, esnea edo eztia isurtzeko erabiltzen zen, hau da, libazioak egiteko. Metal preziatuzko aleak ere badaude, hala zilarrezkoak eta urrezkoak. Grekoek "phiale" hitza ematen zioten baina rhytonari (edateko adarra) ere horrela esaten zioten[2].
