Saeberto (Sæberht, Saberht edo Sæbert bezala ere ezaguna) (616 inguruan hila) Essexeko anglosaxoien erregea izan zen (604 - 616 artean), bere aita Sledd erregearen ondorengoa. Ekialdeko saxoien lehen errege kristautu bezala da ezaguna.[1]
Bere agintaldiaren iturri nagusia VIII. mendearen hasierako Historia Ecclesiastica gentis Anglorum da, Beda Agurgarriak (735-n hila) idatzia, zeinak adierazi baitzuen Mellitus izeneko misiolariaren ekialdeko saxoien artean egindako lanari buruzko informazioa Canterburyko Abade Albinorengandik jaso zuela, Londresko apaiz Nothhelm-en bidez, zeina gero Canterburyko artzapezpiku izan baitzen.[2] Beste iturri batzuk dira Kronika Anglosaxoia, IX. mendearen amaierakoa izan daitekeen ekialdeko saxoien genealogia bat (British Library Add MS 23211), eta anglo-normandiar historialariek idatzitako genealogia eta erregeen zerrenda batzuk.[3]
