Safed (hebreeraz צְפַת, Tzfat, arabieraz صفد, Safad), Israelgo hiri bat da, Iparraldeko barrutian dagoena. 900 metroko altueran kokatua, Galilea osoko hiririk altuena da.
XVI. mendetik aurrera, Safed, Tiberiades, Jerusalem eta Hebronekin batera juduen lau hiri sakratuetako bat da[1] eta horri esker, kabala eta mistizismoaren gune nagusienetariko bat. Eskualdeko turismo-gune nagusia ere bada.
