Sothoera[1][2] (Sesotho) edo hego-sothoera (Sesotho sa Borwa) hegoaldeko Afrikako hizkuntza da, swahilia bezala bantu familiakoa. Lesothoko hizkuntza nazionala da, ingelesarekin batera eta Hegoafrikako 11 hizkuntza ofizialetako bat; hiztunak batez ere Johannesburg, Soweto eta Tshwanen bizi dira. Zimbabweko hizkuntz ofizialetako bat ere bada.
