Tondo Taddei marmolean zizelkatutako eskultura biribila da (tondo bat, formalki [1]), 1504an Michelango eskultoreak egina eta 21. mendean Londresko Royal Academy of Arts akademian dagoena. 109 cm-ko diametroa du.
Taddeo Taddei aberatsaren enkargua izan zen behe-erliebea. Ama Birjina da pertsonaia nagusia eta berarekin Jesus haurra eta Joanes Bataiatzailea haurra dela aheri dira, azken honek eskuetan txori bati eusten diola, Kristoren Nekaldiaren sinboloa.
Lanak guztiz amaitu gabea dirudi eta parte benetan bukatuak Haurraren eta Mariaren goiko aldea dira. Argilunak nabarmen geratu dira zizelkatzean, nolabait kontrastea handitzen delako izaera amaitu gabeari esker. Dinamismo handia ere nabari da, lerro bertikalen konposizioan, Jesusen kokapen horizontalak eragindakoa.
