Renault RE40 je Renaultov dirkalnik Formule 1, ki je bil v uporabi v sezoni 1983 od druge dirke za Veliko nagrado zahodnih ZDA, ko sta z njim dirkala Alain Prost in Eddie Cheever. Alain Prost je dosegel štiri zmage na Velikih nagradah Francije, Belgije, Velike Britanije in Avstrije ter tri najboljše štartne položaje.
