Monteforte d'Alpon l'è on comune de 8900 abitanti che se cata in provincia de Verona. L'è conossù par el vin Soave, la Montefortiana, el carnevale, la festa de l'ua e l'alto canpanile, che l'è deventà el simbolo del paese.
L'è el primo paese de la Val d'Alpon. Se trova a 25 chilometri da Verona e rispeto al capoluogo el se trova a est. Dal punto de vista eclesiastico el Comune de Monteforte l'è diviso tra le Diocesi de Verona (parochia de Monteforte) e de Vicensa (parocchie de Brognoligo e Costalonga)

L'economia la se basa su la coltivasion de la vigna, infati Monteforte se trova ne la zona storica del Soave. Se produse i vini Soave, Soave Classico, Soave Superiore e Recioto de Soave. Se produse anca ójo de oliva e, quando l'è stajón, se pode catàr de le bone sarèse.
