Aphasmaphleps là một chi ruồi thuộc họ Dolichopodidae, phân bố ở Vùng nhiệt đới châu Phi. Chi này được Igor Yakovlevich Grichanov mô tả khoa học lần đầu tiên vào năm 2010. Tên gọi Aphasmaphleps được đặt dựa theo tên của chi Phasmaphleps, do ban đầu chúng được cho là có quan hệ họ hàng gần gũi với nhau.[1] Tuy nhiên, theo nghiên cứu của Capellari và Grichanov (2012), Aphasmaphleps lại mang nhiều nét hình thái tương đồng hơn với hai chi Asyndetus và Cryptophleps.[2]
