Grootaertia là một chi ruồi thuộc họ Dolichopodidae, phân bố ở khu vực miền nam châu Phi. Chi này có hình thái bề ngoài khá giống với chi Paramedetera. Tên chi được đặt theo tên của nhà côn trùng học người Bỉ Patrick Grootaert.[1]
