Éleuthère Irénée du Pont de Nemours (/djuːˈpɒnt, ˈdjuːpɒnt/;[1] bahasa Prancis: [dypɔ̃]; 24 Juni 1771 – 31 Oktober 1834) adalah seorang kimiawan dan industrialis Prancis-Amerika yang mendirikan perusahaan bubuk meriam E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. Para keturunannya, keluarga du Pont, menjadi salah satu keluarga terkaya dan paling berpengaruh di Amerika Serikat sejak abad ke-19, dengan generasi-generasi pengusaha, politikus dan filantropis berpengaruh. Pada 1807, du Pont terpilih menjadi anggota American Philosophical Society di Philadelphia.[2]
