Asellus adalah genus krustasea isopoda air tawar dalam famili Asellidae.[1] Spesies dari genus ini berasal dari Eropa, Asia, dan Alaska.[2] Mereka ditemukan di kanal, danau, kolam, dan lingkungan perairan yang mengalir lambat lainnya.
