Agente zuria Vietnamgo gerran Ranch Hand operazioaren barruan Estatu Batuek erabilitako ortzadar herbizida hosto-galtzaileetako bat da. Agente zuria bi substantzia aktiboren nahasteaz osatuta zegoen, 4:1 proportzioan: azido 2,4-diklorofenoxiazetikoa eta piklorama^[1].

Izena biltegiratzeko erabiltzen ziren 55 galoiko (208 litroko) upeletan margotutako banda zuritik datorkio, erraz identifikatzeko aukera emanez.

Erabilera

Hego Vietnamen agente zuriaren bidezko ihinztadura ihinztadura 1966tik 1971ra egin zen, guztira 21 milioi litro inguru aplikatuz, eta horrek agente laranjaren ondoren bigarren herbizidarik erabiliena bihurtzen du^[2].
