Simple Plan pop punk musika jotzen duen Montrealeko banda da. Taldea 1999an sortu zenetik ez dute partaideen aldetik inongo aldaketarik jasan. Taldekideak Pierre Bouvier (ahots nagusia), Jeff Stinco (gitarra nagusia), Sébastien Lefebvre (gitarra erritmikoa, koroak), David Desrosiers (bajua, koroak) y Chuck Comeau (bateria eta perkusioa). Estudioko lau album argitaratu dituzte, hala nola, No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls (2002), Still Not Getting Any... (2004), Simple Plan (2008) eta Get Your Heart On! (2011). Hortaz gain, zuzeneko bi album guztiz komertzializatuak ere argitaratu dituzte: Live in Japan 2002 (2003) y MTV Hard Rock Live (2005).
Taldearen esanetan bere album berria Taking One for the Team deiturikoa 2016ko otsailaren 19an argitaratuko da.
