Android "Donut" adalah versi ke-empat dari sumber terbuka sistem operasi seluler Android yang dikembangkan oleh Google yang tidak lagi didukung.[1] Di antara fitur-fitur yang lebih menonjol yang diperkenalkan dengan pembaruan ini adalah dukungan tambahan untuk CDMA smartphone, ukuran layar tambahan, indikator penggunaan baterai, dan text-to-speech engine.[2]
Setelah rilis ke publik Donut - nama kode bertema pencuci mulut resmi, konvensi yang digunakan oleh Google untuk menentukan versi Android utama - operator cepat diikuti dengan meluncurkan kepada pelanggan dalam bentuk pembaruan over-the-air (OTA) untuk smartphone yang kompatibel.
