Iais floridana adalah spesies isopoda dalam famili Janiridae.[1] Spesies ini memiliki hubungan komensalisme dengan isopod lain, yaitu Sphaeroma terebrans yang melubangi kayu. Habitat aslinya tidak diketahui, tetapi inangnya berasal dari wilayah Indo-Pasifik. Saat ini, spesies ini diketahui hidup di Teluk dan pesisir timur Florida, tempat pertama kali ditemukan dan dideskripsikan pada tahun 1990-an.[2]
