Protein 9, kpji sadrži dezintegrin i metaloproteinazni domen je enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran  genom ADAM9.[5][6]

Funkcija

Ovaj gen kodira člana porodice ADAM (domen dezintegrina i metaloproteinaze). Članovi ove porodice su proteini usidreni u membrani, strukturno srodni sa dezintegrin omzmijskog otrova, i uključeni su u različite biološke procese koji uključuju interakcije ćelija-ćelija i ćelija-matriks, uključujući oplodnju, razvoj mišića i neurogenezu. Protein koji kodira ovaj gen interaguje sa proteinima koji sadrže SH3 domen, veže se za 2 beta protein koji nedostaje u mitozi, a također je uključen u TPA-indukovano== Funkcija ==
